The 450 BC ancient Samaritan temple on Mt Gerizim! Its inscriptions held the original Ten (9) Commandments. Did the OT borrow or outright plagiarize? Notably absent in the OT, it was destroyed by the Maccabees. Was this an attempt to erase Greek influence? Also an extract from The Book of the Dead (Egyptian), early Amarna period, 1580-1350 BC Extracts from the Prayer to Osiris same wording. Matthew 7:16 "By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?" look up Miltiadis Konstantinou, Prof of Theology of the University of Thessaloniki (you know people that teach priests what is right and wrong in Orthodoxy) On his book "Plato or Moses? The theory of plagiarism" And the professor concludes: "Based on these findings, MANY researchers came to the conclusion that the Pentateuch is a much later work " &"a propaganda text" no older than 300bc A few high ranking priests agree.

Fr Bless, when you were talking about soldiers going off to war and having to kill to defend there country. It reminded me about a story of saint Paisios. praying to the most holy Theotokos that he wouldnt kill anyone and that he would restore a church in her name. She answered his prayers and restored the church in her name. It shows the he knew gravity of killing someone would have on your soul.

I wish that more of our priests would preach/teach about living a moral life. I have one question regarding catechumens because we are getting more catechumens in our Church than we ever did. Why don't the catechumens have to leave at the beginning of the Litany of the Faithful during the Divine Liturgy when the litany clearly states the following: "All catechumens depart. Catechumens depart. All catechumens depart. Let no catechumen remain, but only the faithful."? Wouldn't a new catechumen be confused and wonder that if the instruction to leave is "just there" and meaningless today, what other things are "just there" and meaningless today? I personally think that it would be more beneficial and impactful for the catechumens to depart, leaving them to long for the fullness of the Divine Liturgy and the Holy Mysteries. We are not following in a legalistic manner. There is always Mercy and Forgiveness. “The letter kills, the spirit give life” (2 Corinthians 3:6) To ignore God’s Law outright is just pure rebellion. Christ says if you love Me, you follow my commandments.

pathetic rationalization of your clear disobedience to Jesus' command. I can even see and hear your reluctance to call yourself "father" as if some place buried inside of you is knowledge of the truth that you're sinning when you do so.

Hi, so I'm not Orthodox, and honestly I'm pretty new to Christianity in general since the year started and have barely started reading the Bible even though i was raised Roman Catholic. My fiance also grew up Catholic but a few years ago she got baptized again and is now non-denominational. She has sincere and strong faith in Jesus and is the main person that helped me get closer to God and we are set to be married in July. We've been together for six years and have a 1 year old daughter( I know, but she's truly a blessing) and just recently I've come across Orthodoxy and have started to be convinced by it. I don't know what to do, i brought this up once and she got scared because we love each other dearly and was afraid we wont be able to get married now

Its so weird that story was forced down mankind mouth in to there brains till it was all they knew. Now part of the story is a dynamic of modern psychology ? Wow how did that get in there. Ya. Wake up its a brain game that locked you into a belief about yourself in first book of the book. See how they did it? Men you we r not supposed to buy in to the female aspect of your desires then understanding that at that point there is no need for Jesus or any other words to be sead on topic.

Dear brothers and sisters: what a blessing it is that we who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, abide in the shadow of the Almighty! Truly, there is no greater place for any of us than our being united in the Holy Spirit of our Heavenly-Father with Christ Jesus our King and Eternal-High-Priest of Righteousness. May the love of Christ Jesus flow over, through, and from us all, as He is the Everlasting-Wellspring of Life, from Whose Holy Spirit, being One with the Father, all are called to drink. Please understand that I am, and you are, nothing: in such a way that we are nothing more than vessels for the Holy Spirit to flow through in order that He, Christ Jesus/יהושוע, may be as the Fullness of the Father in us all: the credit anyone could ever give me and that I could ever give you is not ours, but God's alone. Therefore let us all give ourselves as payment on His altar: being as living sacrifices for the One who sends us all in His own mighty Name, by His own Power. Bless all, dear brothers and sisters, and may the Holy One of Israel be our refuge! What burden is there left for us to conquer which the Holy One who Lives within each of us has not already overcome? We are not to give the adversarial thoughts power which belongs only to the Living-God, dividing one amongst another through semantics with worldly understandings. For He alone knew the end from the beginning, and He has declared and does declare: It is finished! Forthwith, let each of us subject ourselves to the Power of our Father's Holy-Spirit by being imitators of the Perfect Love which He has shone-forth through Christ Jesus, that we who are in Him continually give all Glory and Honor to our Lord and to our God: that everyone may come to know True Love by experience, in harmony with our Heavenly-Father's will: His will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. So be it, friends, and may the Peace of our Lord Christ Jesus/יהושוע be with you all.
